A bakery is within walking distance, just a few hundred meters away from the holiday apartment.

Bakery Lang, located at Zechenstr. 7, is a traditional artisan bakery that bakes bread using their own natural sourdough! Opening hours: Mon-Fri: 6:30 am – 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm, Sat: 6:30 am – 11:30 am.

Another bakery is available at the Edeka store on Bahnhofstraße 10, and there are pastry shops at Annaberger Str. 2 and Karlsbader Str. 4.

Balcony furniture is available during the warmer months. Cushions and pillows can be found in the master bedroom under the beds or behind the door. Please bring the cushions inside if it rains.

We provide you with bed linen and towels for your stay. A change of linen during your stay is only possible upon request and for a fee. The number of towels we provide is usually sufficient for a normal stay.

We don’t have a radio or record player, but we do have a Marshall Bluetooth speaker in the living room.

You can use it to listen to your favorite radio station or stream music from your mobile device (phone, tablet, laptop).

Connect to the „Acton III“ speaker to do this.

Oberwiesenthal is accessible both by bus and train.

By train, you can travel to Chemnitz main station; from here, there are up to four daily bus services to Oberwiesenthal.

Alternatively, take the train to Cranzahl and then board the steam-powered Fichtelbergbahn to Oberwiesenthal station.

From Oberwiesenthal station, it’s a distance of 800 meters, or only 600 meters on foot from the Markt stop to our accommodation.

Check-in is possible anytime from 3 pm onwards. Access to the apartment is via a door code, and key handover is not necessary. The door code will be sent via email two days prior to arrival and will be valid from 3 pm onwards.

Upon availability, an early check-in can be booked for a fee upon request. 

The check-out must be before 10am.

Upon availability, a late check-out can be booked for a fee. 

Departure must be before 10:00 AM.

Before leaving, please check that you have packed all your personal belongings. The cleaning team would appreciate it if you could take out the trash. When leaving the apartment, please close all windows, bring in the balcony cushions, and lock the door from the outside using the „<“ on the keypad.

The apartment is equipped with an automatic door locking system. You will receive access to the apartment with an individual door code, which is valid for the duration of your stay. We will send you the door code via email two days before your arrival.

The apartment door can be manually locked from the inside by pressing the button on the door locking system, and from the outside using the < button on the keypad.

Fire extinguishers are located in the kitchen in the right-hand upper cabinet.

A first-aid kit is located in the sideboard in the living room.

If you have taken anything, please let us know so we can replace it.

You can find board games and entertainment games in the sideboard in the living room.

The heating system is equipped with digital thermostats that look similar to regular ones. Please only turn them slightly using the outer ring. You can also use the Google hub to adjust heating or ask the Google assistant.

The temperature is automatically controlled, adjusting it downwards at night to save energy and adapt to the room’s climate according to the time of day.

You can manually adjust the temperature using the outer ring. However, please avoid keeping the temperatures at maximum heat constantly and lower the temperature at night. Also, refrain from heating with open windows.

If you accidentally detach the thermostat from the heater, you can reattach it: Align the marking (‚Top, Arrow‘) on the thermostat with the adapter on the heater, firmly attach the thermostat to the heating adapter, and twist it a quarter turn clockwise to secure it. The thermostat should recalibrate automatically. If this doesn’t work, feel free to contact me via phone or WhatsApp. It’s crucial to remount the thermostat; otherwise, the heater will operate at full capacity.

A key is not necessary. You will receive an individual door code for access to the vacation rental, which is valid for the duration of your stay.

A key for the possibly locked garbage container outside the door can be found inside the apartment.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay.

Dishwasher, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster, refrigerator with freezer compartment, ceramic hob and oven, and of course dishes, cutlery, essential cleaning supplies, and a vacuum cleaner.

You will also find two fire extinguishers in the kitchen.

You can stream music via the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth speaker.

You can also listen to the radio via the smart TV.

Operating instructions for the most important devices are located in the sideboard in the living room.

A dog can be brought along on request. The decision on this is up to the landlord, taking it with you cannot be guaranteed. Dogs may only be brought into the apartment under certain conditions. The dog must not be left alone in the apartment, must be housebroken and may not sit on the bed or on the sofa. The dog must be cleaned before entering the apartment. We charge an additional fee.

The nearest pharmacy is just a few hundred meters away from the apartment.

In Oberwiesenthal, there is an Edeka located at Bahnhofstraße 10 for everyday shopping needs.

The opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 am to 08:00 pm.

Additionally, there are various stores offering seasonal sports equipment, clothing, handicrafts, and gifts, as well as ski equipment rental services.

Smoking is not permitted in the hallway or in the apartment. Those who wish to smoke may do so on the balcony. Please use the ashtray provided on the balcony.

Waste is separated into plastic and packaging (yellow), cardboard (blue), and general waste (black).

At check-out:
Please dispose of your waste yourself in the designated bins in front of the building. A key for the possibly locked bin in front of the door can be found in the kitchen.

Glass: The nearest glass recycling container is located past Zechenstrasse 30, before the entrance to the daycare center.
