BY CAR
Coming from the north, take the A72 until the Stollberg West exit, then follow the B95 to Oberwiesenthal.
From the south, take the federal road B299, and in the Czech Republic, take the A214 towards Eger. Follow the E48 to Karlovy Vary and then the A25 to the ‚Gottesgab‘ border crossing to Oberwiesenthal.
BY BUS AND TRAIN
By train, travel to Chemnitz main station; from here, there are up to four daily bus services to Oberwiesenthal.
Alternatively, take the train to Cranzahl and then board the steam-powered Fichtelbergbahn to Oberwiesenthal station.
From Oberwiesenthal station, it’s a distance of 800 meters, or from the Markt stop, it’s only 600 meters on foot to our accommodation.
We are happy to provide you with a baby high chair free of charge upon request. The high chair is suitable for toddlers up to approximately 2 years old.

You have access to balcony furniture during the warmer seasons. We kindly ask you to bring in the cushions when it rains.
A bakery is within walking distance, just a few hundred meters away from the holiday apartment.
Bakery Lang, located at Zechenstr. 7, is a traditional artisan bakery that bakes bread using their own natural sourdough! Opening hours: Mon-Fri: 6:30 am – 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm, Sat: 6:30 am – 11:30 am.
Another bakery is available at the Edeka store on Bahnhofstraße 10, and there are pastry shops at Annaberger Str. 2 and Karlsbader Str. 4.
We provide you with bed linen and towels for your stay. A change of linen during your stay is only possible upon request and for a fee. The number of towels we provide is usually sufficient for a normal stay.
Oberwiesenthal is accessible both by bus and train.

Check-out is before 10 am. Please check before leaving that you have packed all your personal belongings. The cleaning team would appreciate it if you could take out the trash. When leaving the apartment, please make sure to close all windows and lock the door from the outside using the „<“ button on the keypad.
The apartment is equipped with an automatic door locking system. You will receive access to the apartment with an individual door code, which is valid for the duration of your stay. We will send you the door code via email two days before your arrival.
The apartment door can be manually locked from the inside by pressing the button on the door locking system, and from the outside using the < button on the keypad.
A fire extinguisher is located in the large right kitchen cabinet.

If you have taken anything out, please let us know so that we can replace it.
You can find various board games and entertainment options in the drawers of the bunk bed.
The heating system is equipped with digital thermostats that look similar to regular ones. Please only turn them slightly using the outer ring. You can also use the Google hub to adjust heating or ask the Google assistant.
The temperature is automatically controlled, adjusting it downwards at night to save energy and adapt to the room’s climate according to the time of day.
You can manually adjust the temperature using the outer ring. However, please avoid keeping the temperatures at maximum heat constantly and lower the temperature at night. Also, refrain from heating with open windows.
If you accidentally detach the thermostat from the heater, you can reattach it: Align the marking (‚Top, Arrow‘) on the thermostat with the adapter on the heater, firmly attach the thermostat to the heating adapter, and twist it a quarter turn clockwise to secure it. The thermostat should recalibrate automatically. If this doesn’t work, feel free to contact me via phone or WhatsApp. It’s crucial to remount the thermostat; otherwise, the heater will operate at full capacity.
We do not have a radio or record player, but we do have a smart home entertainment system.
There is a Google Mini in almost every room, which can be controlled by voice commands. In the living room there is a Google Hub, which can be controlled using the display. You can listen to your favorite radio station or stream music via Spotify using this system.
To ensure that everyone can feel comfortable, we kindly ask you to observe the house rules. These are binding and an integral part of the rental agreement. You can find the house rules here.

A key is not necessary. You will receive an individual door code for access to the vacation rental, which is valid for the duration of your stay.
A key for the possibly locked garbage container outside the door can be found inside the apartment.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay.
Dishwasher, Nespresso capsule machine, filter coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, induction hob and oven, as well as crockery, cutlery and the most important cleaning materials and vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning materials can be found in the large kitchen cabinet.
In the kitchen you will also find a fire extinguisher and the first aid kit.
You can listen to music through the Google entertainment system. You can listen to the radio or stream your favorite music from the Spotify library.
Right in front of the house, there are public parking spaces available. We do not offer a reserved parking spot exclusively for the accommodation.
A small parking area is located in the curve of Zechenstrasse. Another is down the street in front of house number 20.
A dog can be brought along on request. The decision on this is up to the landlord, taking it with you cannot be guaranteed. Dogs may only be brought into the apartment under certain conditions. The dog must not be left alone in the apartment, must be housebroken and may not sit on the bed or on the sofa. The dog must be cleaned before entering the apartment. We charge an additional fee.
The nearest pharmacy is just a few hundred meters away from the apartment.

In Oberwiesenthal, there is an Edeka located at Bahnhofstraße 10 for everyday shopping needs.
The opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 am to 08:00 pm.

Additionally, there are various stores offering seasonal sports equipment, clothing, handicrafts, and gifts, as well as ski equipment rental services.
You’ll have access to a separate cellar where you can store your ski equipment, bicycles, or strollers. It’s located in the left cellar, the second door on the left side. You’ll find the code for the lock on the information sheet by the intercom in the apartment.
Smoking is not allowed in the hallway or inside the apartment.
Spotify streaming is available to you free of charge via the Google entertainment system.
Waste is separated into plastic and packaging (yellow), cardboard (blue), and general waste (black).
You’ll find a key for the possibly locked trash container outside the door inside the apartment.
